From the 1930s to the 1990s, Blackwing pencils built a cult following among writers, animators, and musicians. After they were unexpectedly discontinued, some devotees would pay as much as $40 for a single Blackwing pencil on eBay. Thankfully, the brand has since been relaunched, allowing a new generation of creators to enjoy them.
These special-edition Eras pencils are inspired by the pencils that kicked off the Blackwing revival in 2010. They feature a matte black barrel with "Blackwing Eras" printed in gold foil, a gold eraser ferrule, and a white eraser.
